This is a 1-Night & 2-Day Tour Experience for the Beginner and Experienced Rider.
We meet in Thabazimbi and ride north to the Kransberg. Up passes, over gravel roads, with rocky and sandy patches. We look out for game as we ride to our lunch stop. We have lunch, shop for the evening’s braai, and head to our game lodge accommodation.
The next day we head to the other side of Marakele National Park and end our Dual Sport Adventure (DSA) Tour Experience near the park’s main gate.
Tar & Gravel roads with Sandy and Rocky patches/sections.
Gravel Road Grading: mostly Orange 1 + 2 and Green routes.
Day 1
The Experience is a 1-Nighter.
We meet at 10:00 in Thabazimbi, fill up and head north! The Kransberg, part of the Waterberg mountain range, looms in front of us as we travel. What a sight! Game-rich areas are all around us and we stop for game sightings.
Look out for soaring Vultures!
We travel along the eastern side of Marakele National Park on gravel roads, through passes and sandy patches. We head towards Vaalwater for lunch. After lunch, we shop for the evening’s braai (remember your cooler box) and ride towards the game farm where we will overnight. We expect to arrive at 15:00.
At our overnight spot we settle in, relax, and go on a sunset game drive. Upon our return, we make a fire and braai.
Day 2
We have coffee early the next morning, kit up, and head back towards Vaalwater. If the group feels adventurous we take a more challenging road towards the other side of Marakele National Park.
Before long, we start seeing the stunning Kransberge again. We ride a nice gravel road at the foot of the Kransberge and keep a lookout for game. Soon, we arrive at the completion point, where we enjoy a good breakfast.
Then we head home!
